Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month. The Executive Board meets at 5:00 PM and the General Membership meeting follows at 6:00 PM. The meetings are held at the Norfolk Local.

Sep. 01, 2004 - By proclamation, Governor Mark R. Warner appointed Virginia/North Carolina District Council Business Manager Robert "Bobby" Myers chairman of the Governor's Workforce Development Panel. The 21 member panel will include representatives from Labor, Contractors, Business and the Education sectors. The panels primary objective will be to develop more effective paths for workers looking to pursue a career in the construction industry.
